Markus Reiterberger will contest the upcoming  IDM season (International German Motorcycle Championship) with team Van Zon-Remeha-BMW, as well as taking part in World Endurance Championship with Polish team LRP Poland. Further more, Reiti joins at least one WorldSBK entry this year with a wildcard participation at the German Round at Lausitzring under technical supervision by Van Zon-Remeha-BMW.

Lukas Trautman will switch to Polish partner LRP Poland to attend the complete Polish Superbike Championship. Trautmann, Endurance Worldcup winner from 2016, will also take part in this years Endurance World Championship with LRP Poland.

Van Zon-Remeha-BMW and LRP Poland intensify their cooperation in both, their national racing series and World Endurance Championship (EWC).

With Markus Reiterberger, a familiar face returns to team Van Zon-Remeha-BMW. After 30 WorldSBK races in 2016 and 2017 Markus decided to return to his former racing crew to refocus on his career. Of course, Reiterberger is eager to get back on the bike and aim for his third title in the German Championship. Besides IDM and two races in the World Endurance Championship for LRP Poland, Reiterbergers highlight will be his wildcard entry at the German WorldSBK round at Lausitzring. With technical supervision by Werner Daemen and his crew, Reiti is very much looking forward to show up in the Superbike World Championship again.

Meanwhile, Lukas Trautmann assumes responsibility for a demanding superbike development project with cooperation partner LRP Poland in the Polish Superbike  Championship and World Endurance Championship.

With their technical possibilities, the ambitious LRP Poland project is the perfect basis for Trautmanns sporting development.

Werner Daemen:

„With Lukas and Markus we definitely have two talented riders and great guys in our rows. Together with Bartłomiej Lewandowski from LRP Poland we found the perfect deal for our riders after intense considerations. Markus will focus on an interesting and challenging season with IDM, EWC and minimum one WorldSBK wildcard entry. Lukas has a great challenge and opportunity with LRP Poland for the Polish superbike development and title ambitions. Our new cooperation with LRP Poland is very promising and I am happy for Lukas, to be a key role for that.“

Markus Reiterberger:

„I can´t tell you how happy I am to be back working with my Van Zon-Remeha-BMW crew again. I want to get back on the bike as soon as possible to go for fast laps on my BMW. With IDM, EWC and the wildcard entry at Lausitzring I could not be happier at the moment. Finally I have a real chance to show my potential again and I am very much looking forward to my „renewed“ season. With my gained experience in WorldSBK  I was absolutely happy to get back to my IDM team and to ride in the Endurance World Championship again. Thanks to everybody who made this possible.“

Lukas Trautmann:

„Team LRP Poland has very ambitious season goals and I am more than happy to take a big part in the project. We already concluded several promising tests in preparation of the season. The technical regulations give enough room for development and can be very interesting for my sporting career. Of course I also wanted to compete in IDM, but the LRP Poland project will need my whole attention. There´s no way to do everything at the same time. With Markus, Danny, Jan and Arnaud the IDM team is well positioned and in EWC we´re also working as a team. I think this will be a very challenging but exciting season.“
